The Fort Reno Summer Concert Series is an all volunteer Washington, DC institution which has presented free shows in the park for more than 40 years. The bills often feature a mixture of young bands just starting out alongside more seasoned bands -- all from the area's fertile independent music scene. The concert schedule goes from mid-June to August, with shows on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:30. Adults, Kids, dogs and picnic food are welcome.
